Established in 1993 by Dave and Kathryn Kenny, ServiceMaster of Owen Sound was bought over by Bernard (Bud) Vallee in August 2005. Bud owns and operates ServiceMaster of Brantford. When he bought the Owen Sound operation, Bud kept all of the staff then employed, and Kathryn Kenny stayed on as General Manager. ServiceMaster of Owen Sound operates out of an 11,000 sq. ft. facility located at 107 Jason Street in the Springmount Business Park. This building includes office space for both ServiceMaster and Merry Maids, a large workshop/processing area, ozone/drying room, and individual storage lockers. Employees are screened, bonded and insured, professionally trained and certified, and wear ServiceMaster identified uniforms. ServiceMaster carries full liability insurance, including "Care, Custody and Control", Pollution, and Workers' Compensation.
